Meet the members of this evening’s improv offering, Musical Improv Grad Show by Co-Hosts Suzanne Hitchman & David Norfleet, over here.* We will be performing Monday, September 14 from 8:00-9:00 in the Mission at Stage Werx, 446 Valencia Street (between 15th and 16th, nearby BART: 16th Street). Tickets at the door: $5 or free for current Endgames Improv students.

We all spent this past weekend with Suzanne and David at Endgames Training Center.

Who are we? Collectively, we are San Francisco Bay Area improvisors who have trained or are training at a variety of improv communities – BATS Improv (SF), Endgames Improv (SF), Made Up Theatre (Fremont), Pan Theater (Oakland), South Bay Meet-up (Mountain View).

Our intensive instructors? Meet Suzanne Hitchman and David Norfleet.

Suzanne Hitchman (on web, Twitter) has been improvising since 2011, studying at Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theater in New York City, BATS and EndGames Improv. She moved to NYC from San Francisco in 2014. She is currently on a Magnet Theater Musical Megawatt Team, Good Company and Pop-Up Musicals’ house team Hot Again. She performs non-musical improv with UCB indy team God and All Gods and performs regularly with LGBTQ ensemble There’s No Place Like Home. While in San Francisco she performed regularly on the musical improv team, The Lombard Street Experiment (LSE). LSE were proud 6x winners of BATS Cave Match their rookie year. She also performed regularly with EndGames teams, The Carol Bourne Identity and Vagina Jones and the indy duo, Druzanne.

Since 1991, David Norfleet (on web)  has been improvising music with companies around the U.S. and Canada. During the day, he composes and produces music for film, television, multimedia, installations, and anything else he can think of. From 1995-1998 David was active in New York’s improv, live theatre and performance art scene, but transplanted himself to San Francisco to start up his own music/sound studio, Seal Rock Music.

What is your favorite musical? And if there are too many musicals to choose from, what is one of your favorite songs from a musical?
